I feel ya, on my glory hunter had a great season with Lepzig but unexpectedly did the league and cup double after Bayern had a poor start, City job became available and now im just twiddling my thumbs whilst walking the league with Halaand as top scorer. Next job may look for a rebuild unless i get the chance to tick off PSG.

Because you will get Germany ticked off so quick you should go to a lower quality club next and build them up, possibly villareal and develop that wonderkid you spotted at Milan

Ive been playing a glory hunter myself but added a rule that I can't manage a team that has won the league in the last 5 years. It stops these situations from happening and also adds another element as a keep looking around all the leagues to check who I'm allowed to manage

I've done Glory Hunter this time and done the "three year project" – Lille first for three seasons, then did three at Stutgart before I'd wrapped everything up. I'm in my first season at AC Milan now – they've not won anything in the whole six seasons of the save so far – but think that'll be done quicker. I think when I go to Spain next it'll be another Lille level side. Yes Lille were the defending champions at the beginning of the save, but nowhere near the Champions League in terms of squad quality then.

Don't join Barca! It will feel the same as Bayern as only 2 challengers in La Liga. Even in this type of save I have the same problem with joining top teams in any of the leagues, much more fun. Being the best of the rest to start with is much more satisfying.

The only time i do the dominant team thing is in the small leagues where i then want to take them to European glory against the much richer clubs e.g. Maribor.

Love glory hunter and your online save. Currently ticked off England's competitions including champions league europa fa Cup and carabao Cup in 4 years done it with arsenal.

It definitely makes for much more fun time for you and your viewers if you struggle from time to time. Like PSG would be beyond boring, even if that is the point of the series

A journeyman would probably have been better: work up from the bottom to the top, with no coaching badges or reputation to begin with, slowly improving both until you're in high demand. Glory Hunter was good once but this time it's become a dull procession. The fun for us is watching you piss money away on old players but you winning every week is as boring for the viewer as it is for you. And you end up hunting clubs that give you easy success and that isn't fun to watch at all. Of course you want to take over at City, then PSG, then Barcelona or Real. But is it good to watch?

Stay for one more super-season. Use that £300M to make them insane. We all know mad transfer markets are the bread and butter of YouTube FM saves. Plus, after you make them insane, they'll be a formidable rival in the future, giving you that difficulty you want.

The least fun point in any save is when you're totally dominating your domestic league but you havent cracked the Champions League yet. 38 games a season of filler keeping you from the small handful of games you actually care about.
