Finally a classic defensive midfielder…since Javi Martinez has left theres been a big hole right infront of our center backs….Goretzka and Kimmich both are way too offensive….it is incredible that these two can't work out who plays as 6 and who as an box to box 8. I would definitely force Kimmich to play a defensive homding midfielder and Leon Goretzka as offensive midfielder. But obviously they both are selfish and want to stand out as "playmakers."
Both are at best world class….it reminds me of Michael Ballack and Thorsten Frings…these two also never wanted to harmonize.
Konrad Laimer has been praised bu literally every coach that trained him as professional defensive 6 that presses like a beast and runs for two players….just what we need.
Lets hope we get a world class striker and get rid of certain center backs that make way to many mistakes….cough cough…. Upamecano. And in all reality we still need further"fighters" in our midfield. Sane, Gnabry, Mane, Gravenberch etc are way too moody.
Im tired of the one game great then two games "NOTHING" Leroy Sane type of performances from these spoiled players….we need stability.
We also need players that step up in the second half….this constantly leading with one or more goals just to then complete fall apart in the 2nd half needs to stop.
