Tifo’s new book, «How to Watch Football» is now available internationally:
In the dying embers of the January Transfer Window, Marcel Sabitzer joined Manchester United on loan from Bayern Munich for the remainder of the season.
The move was spurred on by Christian Eriksen’s injury, who joins a growing injury list of defensive midfielders at United including Scott McTominay and Donny van de Beek – ahead of a huge fixture pile up which includes the Europa league.
But what will the Austrian international bring to Erik ten Hag’s squad, and is the player smart business to help secure a top 4 finish? JJ Bull tells us why it’s a very sensible transfer…

This is an exciting signing simply because it's sensible for so many years the club have spent money on the wrong player and made the team worse.
JJ seems like he'd belong on an Interdimensional Cable episode on Rick and Morty
Best football analysis on this dying platform.
I do not agree that Sabitzer isnt a very technical player.
Bayern also got world class left back cancelo it's a win win for both the parties
Great video
Lindelof to midfield.
What are the chances they sign him permanently
And Casemiro is suspended for 3 consecutive matches. Opportunity just knocked on his door
Nice vid. That jersey though.
I happen to have it because I ordered a Ronaldo Nazario Barcelona retro shirt but they put the Zidane 1998 shirt in the order as well. I let them know and they said it was an error whilst sorting the orders and that I could keep it.
Mctominay being injured is a problem for the league. Even Ronaldo would have done a better job than a failed striker like Mctominay.
Thats the beautiful thing about dutch football. They love versatile players not one dimensional players. Sometimes i wonder why ten hag bought antony
It would be if it has an opt to buy option
The funniest analysis video so far
…I'm almost certain guy was high during the presentation
Either he was high or simply having too much fun
is the video presenter guy drunk?
why isnt christiano's Jersey behind you!!!!!!!
I am not saying that Sabitzer wasn't a smart buy, but I have watched many of your recent videos on the transfers and for all of them you have said sth similar, that can't possibly be true. Especially considering how awful many of the recent buys have been. Take your list of the biggest transfers in the EPL you showed in the Enzo video, how many of them actually performed as expected? 1, only 1.
Why does utd doing good smart things upset you so much..JJ.?
The old drunk Merson on sky saying this was a desperate measure and how Man U shouldn’t be buying Bayern reserves. Ain’t got a clue outside of the premier league
Really basic review, shows you’ve hardly seen him play. Good player.
He's a midfield engine and better than Fred. All I needed to know.
you get a LOL for all the fineness in this video
THIS DUDE TALKS LIKE THE BOYFRIEND GUY FROM FRIENDS
That's exactly the difference between a top club like Bayern and a mid club like United. Sabitzer was good at Leipzig, exactly because he played at Leipzig in a system that suited him, but in a real top club like Bayern he got exposed. He's not good technically like Gravenberch, he's not strong or tall like Goretzka and I didn't see him make a single difficult pass all season, which Kimmich tries every single game. He's also not a defensive or pressing monster like Laimer, who's up and coming and I think this really sums Sabitzer up. He's a perfect fit for a Europa level club but at the top level, he fails to deliver.
