    how barcelona has fallen the 2015 bayern is much stronger than the one they currently have and them along with pretty much any other european side feared getting matched up with barcelona because winning at the nou camp was pretty much impossible for any team on the planet. Pep knew this which is why he wanted to try countering with a significant midfield to try cutting and dispossesing the ball from the front three he was successful if memory serves me right bayern attained more possesion which was a impressive feat in the nou camp but he couldn't hold them for long the attack potency was too great and they ended up conceding 3 near the end. In the 2nd leg bayern won at allianz 3-2 which obviously meant Barcelona had more then enough to head to the finals. Nowadays not getting past the group stage of the CL and not even winning Europa (even playing Europa) was something unimaginable for fans back that time. I respect Xavi and his new project and do hope he achieves something close to the 2015 team however his loyalty to players like sergio and alaba is something that needs to change
