The Bundesliga 2023/24 season may be over, but Bayern’s quest for a new head coach is far from finished! With Max Eberl tasked with spearheading a rebuild at Bayern, smooth sailing is nowhere in sight for the Bavarian giants. The hunt for a new coach intensifies, with the usual suspects becoming increasingly involved. Who truly holds the reins at Bayern? Markus (@markusfjortoft) and Jan (@janaagefjortoft) discuss all the latest.
Meanwhile, Leverkusen etch their name in history as the first undefeated team in Bundesliga history, while Köln joins Darmstadt in relegation to the 2. Bundesliga. Union narrowly escapes the relegation playoffs, securing safety with a dramatic win. Bochum now faces off against Fortuna Dusseldorf for the final Bundesliga spot. We also pay tribute to one of Germany’s greatest ever players, Toni Kroos. He will be retiring at the end of this season. Stay tuned for a full-season review next week!

Crazy and now the next Bayern Munich Coach will be Vincent Kompany
I simply can’t think of any club that interests me less than Bayern. I would prefer a take on Darmstadt haha for personal reasons of course Stuttgart would be my choice 😉

Great show as always.still hoping you can bring Xabi Alonso on the podcast.looking forward to your reviews on the upcoming Euros.
I think Bayern thinks they can convince Klopp next year and this year they are looking for a short term coach since that is also a reason they don’t want to give Flick a long term contract.
Love your podcast guys. Now that Pochettino has been sacked do you think he’ll come to Bayern?
