BREAKING: Sadio Mane Transfer Agreed as Liverpool Accept Bayern Munich Bid Totalling £35m

Liverpool have agreed the sale of Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich after the forward made clear that he wanted to join the Bundesliga giants this summer.

In a transfer move worth just over £35m, Liverpool will receive a fixed fee of €32m (£27.4m) with a further €9m (£7.7m) in add-ons based on appearances and individual and team achievements.

That equates to a significant improvement in the terms that Bayern had offered in their previous two bids which had been swiftly rejected, as Matt Addison reports.

Love Mane and wish him well but will never understand this from his perspective. To leave the best league in Europe and a winning team to play in a less challenging league when he is still at his peak seems shortsighted – a career is short and you the opportunities he has with Liverpool don't come along all the time. But he will face weaker defenses so get more goals and maybe that's what drives him.

I think this is one of the sadest exits i can remember in a long while, 5-7 years of high level of service, and if true – FSG never offered give him a new deal, when Mo was saying he's not asking for crazy money – was that december or january i can't remember exact period.

But, then it was obvious FSG, were not offering anything – or have, but is still 100k a week short of what Bayern are, as we know is 350k euros a week.

Huge admiration for Mane, the way he's gone to something better. Great memories he leaves us. As fans to you, you'll never walk alone, Love you Mane.

Julian Ward seems to be a serious downgrade from Edwards, Bayern can't be quoting 50m euros for Lewa and get away with paying 40 for Mane, between this and the massive amount forked out on Darwin I am getting a bit worried

About time, let him go and then let Liverpool get ready for the start to our pre season.
Nunez is now a Liverpool player and forget Mané who WANTED to leave
