Just for the record, his humor is often considered Karl Valentinesque in Germany. A Bavarian comedian from the early 20th century which I know very little about unfortunately. I think he had a bit of an ironic and also charming approach of holding people a mirror up. But actually I shouldn't talk too much about it since that's just what I heard and nothing I can actually tell for sure. Yeah, maybe it's worth to dig into Karl Valentin a bit and learn more about him.
