Nowhere near bayern or leverkusen lmao, are we forgetting they were ucl finalists last season. They also beat Bayern away 2 – 0 and it took leverkusen two late winners to draw against dortmund twice last season. Dortmunds biggest issue is consistency and i believe with time sahin will succeed.

typical BS from ESPN just to make clickbait videos and produce same tired takes. how can you expect Dortmund to play excellent and perfect football with new coach just on a 5th matchday? It will take time for BVB to implement 100% coach's game idea. But very good game vs Heidenheim was good teaser for Sahin-ball. Not everything will work right now. So such lazy criticism is idiotic. So what they got CL games? they will play them and will see if there would be improvement. whats the big deal? as if these idiots from ESPN care about how BVB gonna do in CL. they dont see BVB doing well in CL anyway. so why would they care? lol. such a fake care. in CL there are usual favorites. And Dortmund are doing their own thing, they are developing their own game slowly and step by step. After two years of terrorism-ball from Terzic BVB players will have to get used to new and more positive and more demanding system. BVB also need to sign better 6 to play near Gross in midfield in order to fully implement new game idea. Emre Can doesnt suit BVB's current more complicated football.

No, they are not. It's always been the same at BvB for years: they win a series of games, then they lose at least two games, then things go better and then they lack consistency again in the second half of the season.

If people really think that this Dortmund side could be a contender, they haven´t payed attention … The only team that could become a threat to Bayern this season is Leverkusen, noone else.
The rest lacks consistency, in a month noone will even consider Dortmund contender because they will be 9+ points behind Bayern anyway …

Dortmund doesn't have the quality of Leverkusen and certainly not Bayern. A home game against a relegated team is a must win. If Bochum had taken the chance to make it 3-0 yesterday, they would have been in an embarrassing situation

they play better going forward under the new coach. but they need to fix their defense. its a mess. bochum have quality up front and they managed to hurt dortmund in some moments. glad they are not that good defending and they had emptied their tank mid 2nd half
