Arsenal fans say that Aston villa is unai emerys ceiling as if aston villa is not a big enough job . He has put aston villa on level with arsenal . They both are in the champions league , both are contenders for the title ( arsenal are more favs to win the title ) . But from 8th to 2-3rd and from 18th to 4th without as much money is a bigger achievement for me

Great analysis. Unai and a good coach is the difference in football now and I love it.

On Martinez – i agree with what you said about Martinez, but his mentality is what has turned him into a top 3 GK for me and hes more than just Clutch moments – watching him every week just shows that he is now consistent all the time. I can think of maybe 3 mistakes and 1 "bad" game (vs arsenal). Yes, not as naturally talented as allison ect, but he has turned himself into that player with his mentality and relentless improvement – hes even a sweeper keeper which he himself said wasnt his game before. Mentality has to be the best trait as a GK, but hes more than that now.

I'm obviously bias as a Villa fan, but wanted to say that.

Man U have something over us still, but we might do you a favor and get Ten Hag sacked.

Aston Villa is a massive club with a proud history in football, unfortunately throughout the clubs 150 year existence it's had long periods of mismanagement never reaching it's full potential, but finally with great owners & top level football people in every area at the club everything is slotting into place nicely, since Unai Emery has been manager the clubs progress is on overdrive & Villas long suffering loyal supporters are getting the good times back again & it's fully deserved….. up the fuck'in Villa!!! 💜💙

Emery is most underrated coach of all time.
But as you said, Bayern struggles vs teams that lets them keeo the ball, but for example when they okay Barca soon, Barca will want the ball and possession and that's why i think Bayern will destroy Barca.

Big fan of your content Lyes! I just wanted to comment on your point about Bayern not creating clear cut chances. How were Bayern supposed to create a clear cut chance against a Villa side that were camping in their own box? I feel like this is becoming more common in football at the moment. Madrid, City, Bayern, etc. this season have been facing deep blocks and we place the reason for the lack of goals or chance creation on coaching or the players, but what are these teams meant to do? A lot of games nowadays boil down to who gets to sit back first

Ik you don’t like GKs… but trying to say that Ederson is a near top 5 GK is ridiculously stupid.

And implying they Raya is more consistent then Martinez? Martinez has been that guy since BEFORE he won the WC

I don't see many people mentioning Philogene's performance. Had to come on very early due to an injury and bossed the rest of the match. I've never seen him play before but it felt like he was everywhere. Villa don't have the cleanliness of Arsenal's defence but they put in work and I was rooting for them all night.

Harry Kane is a half 9 ask his youth coaches he likes to drop deep that is his game that has always been his game you wouldn’t tell weghorst to run in behind stop telling Kane to play like haaland he’s not
