……. the move to Bayern gives Mane a chance at more CL wins than at Liverpool, lol. The simple fact everyone is trying to avoid.
Bayern don't care about their domestic league, they care about CL. So when Mane says he wants a new opportunities, that's what he's talking about.

Could be the beginning of an end of title hopes in seasons to come for Liverpool. Less flashy than Salah, Mane was often more reliable. Great production over the years in Reds uniform. Good deal for Bayern- the German Reds, the fee they paid for Mane is quite low. Guess he speaks some German at least, used to play in Austria.

    Mane/Diaz on the left
    Nunez/Firmino as CF
    Salah/Jota on the right

that is the front 6 we should have had for next season. I think LFC could afford 250k per week for Mane, its not that high of a wage and would fit the wage structure. Salah could be on 300k then and not break the structure as well. Now its gonna be weird if Salah gets 300k+ and wont score or assist, which is a small but possibility.

Liverpool have just handed the next EPL title to city by selling Mane. U don't sell your best players. Nunez or Diaz can't replace Mane. Mane is a different beast. City don't sell their best players. That's the huge difference. Salah's level will drop cuz of Mane's departure. Mark my words. Pep would love this.

Sorry to see Mane go, sorry (even with problems) Suarez go for him it was a good move), with Coutinho it did not work out, when Torres left and going to Chelsea, not a great move but a European medal. Things have change forced into it, but had to come some time!

He said mane is getting good money for the age of 30 I have neevrr seen ppl who are more dumb for these ppl being doing this for years at 30 you’re in your prime I promise when he goes to Bayern they going to wish they never sold him but who I’m I to say ??‍♂️

When you’re too cheap to pay your world class player and pay over the top for a unproven young striker and somehow your fan base still loving it. ??? halarious Liverpool fans.

Liverpool missed the chance to win the league and the champions league this past season. They wont get those chances easily for the next few seasons as teams such as Chelsea, man united and Tottenham will equally strengthen and will not be push overs next season. Mancity are still the favourites to win the league next season because they have staying power and are not easy to unseat once they get to the top.

It's about the CL for Bayern. And other than MC, there was nothing to stop Liverpool in England either. This "competitive" nonsense we hear marketed from England is just that. The gap between the top 1 or 2 in England and the rest over the last 5 years has never been wider than it is now.

He's leaving as a legend. It's perfect timing. And let's be honest, Liverpool basically pushed him out of the door. No recognition for his AFCON win, favoring Salah (paying him half of his salary), not even discussing prolonging his contract, I mean need I say more? I'm happy he's leaving. He will be respected more at Bayern and he will do big things there. Auf Wiedersehen ????

Why isn't anyone talking about Jota? Who also plays down the left. I think with Mane leaving we have 2 capable backups in Jota and Diaz. My main worry would be if Salah leaves.

Very sad to see him go as a LFC fan. While mane is superb, as part of an attacking trio, he is not a striker. Bayern seem to think he can slot in as a no.9 to replace Lewandowski. It will be interesting to see how it pans out!!

  13. Marcus

“They’ve found a man that can fill Mane’s boot”, wow.. did they really? No one knows what Nunez can do in the epl, everyone knows what Mane has done. Liverpool may still play great. But the attack is going to look very different next season, because Mane was the MAN at Liverpool.

The fact Liverpool were paying him less than oxley-chamberlain and martial is disgraceful. He probably didn’t want to leave but it was the only way he could get paid what he was worth

Such a huge transfer with such a legend of the game moving to another league with another huge club ❗…
Yet it's done so Swift n smooth, a huge majority of the people don't seem to realise the efficiency of intelligent footballing business side, done by the LFC ? ? ..
